M/MARITIME proudly supports the exhibition “Maru, Greeks in the Shipyards of Japan, 70 years of maritime innovation” aiming to present the distinctive relationship and longstanding cooperation between the Greek owners and the Japanese shipbuilding industry, as recorded in the pages of the Naftika Chronika magazine.

We continue to show respect to the Japanese shipbuilding industry, and the Greek maritime history and tradition as well as enhance our Country’s strong ties with Japan.

The Maru exhibition presents models of ships, authentic business gifts and tokens of friendship and appreciation, contributed by Greek shipowners to the organizers, to visualizes aspects of this 70 years of continuous cooperation between the maritime nations of Greece and Japan.

The exhibition takes place from the 15 to 21 December 2022 at Amalias 36 in Athens.

M/MARITIME is sponsor of the event titled “The Making of Modern Japan: The Story of an Empire”, a tête-à-tête discussion between Prof. Maria D. Efthymiou, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Dr Ilias Bissias, Director of Naftika Chronika & Isalos.net which takes place on Saturday, 17 December 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, aiming to highlight the milestones that led to the creation of the Empire of Japan.
