As the new academic year begins in Greece, M/MARITIME is proud to announce its participation in the Union of Greek Shipowners’ (UGS) Scholarship Programme for the third consecutive year. The Company is honored to be among those companies who have awarded 130 postgraduate scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year.
As part of this initiative, the M/MARITIME Scholarship has been awarded to two students: Ms. Chaido Papadopoulou and Mr. Vasilis Perselis. Ms. Papadopoulou, a graduate of the University of Macedonia with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, will pursue her postgraduate studies in International Shipping, Finance and Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Mr. Perselis, a graduate of AUEB with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, will continue his academic journey at AUEB with a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
On Monday, September 1st, Ms. Papadopoulou and Mr. Perselis visited our premises and had the opportunity to share their dreams, concerns, and aspirations with us. Following this meeting, they provided the following reflections:
Ms. Chaido Papadopoulou stated:
“This scholarship is a recognition of my efforts and a source of inspiration to continue with even greater enthusiasm.. It gives me the opportunity to focus on my dream and contribute meaningfully to a field with international importance.”
Mr. Vasilis Perselis added:
“The M/MARITIME scholarship is a source of inspiration and motivation for me. It gave me the confidence to pursue my studies and set higher goals, and I am deeply grateful for your support.”
