M/MARITIME completed the first dry-docking of ARETI.GR at Neorion Syros ONEX Shipyards. This is the third vessel of the Company’s fleet to undergo her dry-docking operation in Greece. ARETI.GR is a 60,300-dwt vessel, built in 2017 at Oshima Shipbuilding in Japan. From Oshima Shipbuilding and the Sea of Japan, ARETI.GR arrived in Greece in February 2022, after transporting more than 2 million metric tons of dry bulk goods around the world, while calling 162 ports and with total of 156 seafarers having served as officers and crew throughout these last five years. M/MARITIME continues to demonstrate genuine respect to Greece’s ship repair and maintenance industry by entrusting, for the third time, ONEX Shipyards and Neorion in Syros for the dry-docking process of the Company’s modern Japanese vessels. APOLLO.GR, a 60,437-dwt vessel built at Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding in 2016, is expected to complete her dry docking at Neorion Syros in April 2022. We are confident we can take ship maintenance in Greece a step ahead through the excellent cooperation between our people onboard and ashore and the people of Neorion Syros, whose exceptional workmanship is reflected on our vessels. We will also continue to support the local business community though additional works in the vessels’ accommodation offering improved conditions for our seafarers to enjoy a comfortable life while at sea.
