M/MARITIME HOLDS FIRST VIRTUAL OFFICERS’ CONFERENCE

On the 27th and 28th May 2021, M/MARITIME held the Annual two-day Officers’ Conference in place of a physical gathering usually taking place in Odessa, Ukraine due to public health concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Taking our Officers’ Conference online allowed us to benefit not only from the presence of our Officers ashore but also of our Officers onboard our vessels. The success of talking this Conference online was reflected in the numbers and the diversity of the participants: 104 Senior Officers, 25 M/Maritime people, 11 vessels in 3 different oceans, 7 Marlow Navigation representatives, 4 Oceanic Catering employees and 3 participants from Monospace Web Labs. We are already looking forward to next year’s Officers’ Conference in order to meet in person and continue to exchange ideas and improve ourselves.
