M/MARITIME TAKES DELIVERY OF FIRST MITSUI-BUILT ULTRAMAX VESSEL

On August 1st, 2019, we took delivery of Hull No. 1961, our first 60,394 dwt Ultramax vessel built by Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding in Japan. M/V ATALANTI.GR sailed for her maiden voyage following her naming at Tamano Shipyard in Japan. M/V ATALANTI.GR is the fifth Ultramax vessel to join the fleet of M/MARITIME. Hull No. 1962, the second Ultramax vessel being built at the same shipyard was named M/V KASSIOPI.GR and is expected to be delivered under the management of M/MARITIME at the beginning of September 2019.
