We strategically support initiatives that preserve the maritime heritage in Greece, strengthen the long-lasting shipping and maritime ties between Greece and Japan, and selective initiatives that contribute to the continuous proud tradition of Greek shipowners, public health, educational and sports sponsorships.

Environment
ENVIRONMENT
1.1
HULL & HATCH COVERS DESIGN
Our modern fleet of Japanese vessels, built in collaboration with shipyards of topmost quality, most of them as newbuildings, are all eco-type with energy efficient hull designs, contributing to sustainable sailing across the seas.
Improved hull forms are fitted with energy saving devices such as rudder bulbs, propeller boss cap fins, advanced flipper fins and post swirl ducts aimed to enhance vessels’ hydrodynamic and propulsion performance.
High-performance antifouling paints have been carefully selected to provide for long-term antifouling protection, ultra-low friction, and reduced fuel consumption.
1.2
ENGINE ROOM
The engine is the beauty inside our vessels. All our vessels are powered by Japanese, top quality eco-type electronic Main Engines of improved fuel efficiency which guarantee lower fuel consumption.
Our vessels are equipped with telemetry systems installed to acquire near real time measurements from performance monitoring systems measuring consumptions and data from energy intensive and environmentally sensitive systems including main engine, generators, ballast water treatment plants and the exhaust gas cleaning systems. Data is collected, processed, and evaluated to ensure accuracy of our fleet’s performance and guarantee promptness in our crew reaction to safeguard technical integrity.
Official electronic Oil Record Books and Ballast Record Books have been implemented to eliminate risk of any pollution and faster remote verification of compliance with Rules and Regulations.
Repairs are identified and carried out promptly and efficiently, to minimize off-hire periods and ensure the safe operation of the vessel.
All vessels’ Engine Rooms are fitted with A60 insulated bulkheads and equipped with CO2 fire extinguishing systems to improve flexibility in cargo carriage.

BRIDGE
We put emphasis on providing innovative technological equipment to our Bridge Teams to ensure efficiency and safety in the navigation and operations.
All our vessels are equipped with integrated Navigation and Bridge systems that provide accurate data for better, more efficient and safer voyage planning and energy efficient autopilots that combine high-precision steering for maximum safety with a wide range of fuel-saving features.
Weather routing and voyage optimization software is used to assist both Office and Crew to continuously monitor and analyze vessels’ performance, speed and trim optimization and biofouling detection for better planning of hull cleanings.
Cameras on Bridge allow us to monitor the deck operations and weather conditions at any time, not only for security purposes but to facilitate better understanding & communication between Crew and Office staff.
